- 4 to 5 whole cloves
- 1 cup water
- Optional: ginger, cinnamon, or honey
Instructions
- Bring the water to a boil in a small pot.
- Add the whole cloves and reduce heat.
- Cover and let steep for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Strain and serve warm.
