Fertilizer That Makes Flowers Go Crazy ! Do This to the Peace Lily, Let It Bloom Abundantly and Thrive

Welcome to My Channel: Peace Lily Care Tips

Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel! Today, I am starting the video with my beautiful peace lilies. In this video, I will share an amazing recipe that helps your peace lilies thrive, grow lush, and develop large, glossy, dark green leaves. This method is not just effective for peace lilies but also beneficial for all kinds of houseplants. With this treatment, your plants will become more vibrant, produce more flowers, and their roots will rejuvenate and strengthen.

As you can see, my peace lily and other plants are all healthy, with dark green, shiny, and large leaves. I always use natural methods to care for my plants, and today, I will share another powerful plant care recipe with you.

Secret Ingredient: Lentils

Today, I am using red lentils! Lentils contain a high amount of nitrogen, which helps intensify the green color of the leaves, and potassium, which strengthens the roots. This natural fertilizer is highly beneficial for plant growth. Instead of throwing away the water used to rinse lentils while cooking, we can use it to nourish our plants naturally.

To prepare this mixture, I poured half a glass of lentils into a jar and added warm, dechlorinated water. The water should be left to rest for about two hours. After that, the nutrient-rich water can be used as a natural fertilizer for plants.

Boosting the Mixture with Ash

Next, I will add ash to this mixture. Ash contains phosphorus, which is essential for root and flower development. You can use wood ash or charcoal ash; both work equally well. This natural fertilizer not only promotes plant growth but also prevents ants, bugs, and pests from infesting the soil. In my experience, soil treated with ash repels insects effectively.

I always incorporate natural elements into my plant care routine, and I have seen remarkable results. You can also enhance this mixture by adding rice water, which provides additional nutrients. Make sure to use water that has been left uncovered at room temperature for 2-3 days.

Now, let’s mix one tablespoon of ash into our lentil water, stir well, and dilute it with more water before using it on our plants.

Application & Frequency

This fertilizer is incredibly effective and completely safe for plants. It encourages abundant flowering, especially during March when plants need more phosphorus to produce flower buds. When applying this fertilizer, consider the pot size; for larger pots, use two cups of the mixture, and for smaller pots, one cup is enough.

In addition to feeding your plants, regularly misting their leaves is crucial. Peace lilies thrive in humid environments, and misting them daily will keep their leaves hydrated and glossy. Use dechlorinated water and a spray bottle to mist all sides of the leaves. If you do this consistently, your peace lily will develop large, lush, and healthy leaves without any browning or dryness at the tips.

Another important care tip is to give your plants a shower every ten days. Peace lilies love moisture, so giving them a lukewarm water shower mimics rainfall and promotes growth. You will notice how much healthier and fuller their leaves become over time.

Final Thoughts

This natural fertilizer is completely safe, so you don’t need to worry about overuse. However, it’s essential to wait at least 15-20 days before applying another round of fertilizer. Over-fertilizing can damage plant roots and lead to health issues.
