How to Prevent Ripples in Your Jeans
You can’t undo damaged fibers, but you can prevent future pairs from suffering the same fate:
-
Wash less often (spot-clean when possible)
-
Turn jeans inside out
-
Use cold water only
-
Choose a gentle or delicate cycle
-
Avoid overloading the washer
-
Skip the dryer or use low heat
-
Air-dry flat or hang by the waistband
If your jeans contain stretch, heat is their biggest enemy.
