Victor was piloting the motorboat across the tranquil waters of the Gulf of Finland, while a group of tourists from Moscow enthusiastically cast their fishing lines.
The day couldn’t have been better—sunlight sparkled on the water, a mild breeze stirred the air, and the fish were biting eagerly.
“Victor Semyonych, is that something floating out there?” one of the tourists suddenly asked, pointing into the distance.
Victor narrowed his eyes, trying to make out the shape on the water’s surface.
