5 – IMPORTANT SOURCE OF ENERGY

6 – EFFECTIVE FIBERS
Dates finally make it possible to very effectively reinforce fiber intake, which is often lacking in meals today. A portion of
50 g of dates provides more than 3.5 g, which represents practically 12 to 15% of the recommended quantity for the day. The fibers in dates, which are essentially insoluble, are very effective in combating the tendency towards intestinal laziness. They are generally very well tolerated, especially when consuming the softer varieties of dates. A diet rich in fiber helps prevent type 2 diabetes, obesity and certain cardiometabolic disorders.
