Creamy Garlic Chicken
🍳 Preparation
Prepare the chicken:
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and, if desired, lightly flour them for a golden crust during cooking.
Brown the chicken:
In a large skillet, heat the oil and butter. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden brown and almost cooked. Remove and set aside.
Prepare the creamy sauce:
In the same skillet (without washing it), add the minced or crushed garlic cloves and sauté for 1 minute over low heat, without burning them.
Add cream and broth:
Pour in the cream and broth, stir and simmer for 2-3 minutes until it begins to thicken.
Add Parmesan cheese (optional):
Add it to the sauce for more flavor and creaminess.
Return the chicken to the pan:
Add the chicken, stir well and cook over medium-low heat for another 5-7 minutes, until the sauce thickens and the chicken is tender.
Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with fresh parsley.
