I’ve made it dozens of times and my family loves it! The sauce is simply amazing!

Step 3: Add the Hearty Vegetables: Add the diced potatoes, chopped carrots, and dried rosemary to the pot. Then, add the chopped turnips or tomatoes, if using. Increase the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 30 minutes, or until the potatoes and carrots are tender. Step 4: Burst of Freshness (Optional): If using fresh corn kernels and green beans, add them to the pot during the last 10 minutes of cooking.

Step 5: Simmer for Perfection: Continue cooking the stew for another 30 minutes to 1 hour, or until the meat is tender and the vegetables are cooked through.

Step 6: Season and Taste: Taste the stew and adjust the salt and pepper as needed. Serve the hearty beef stew hot, ladled into bowls, with crusty bread for dipping.
